Who Needs to Take Action?
1. BoostedHost Domain Registrants Using BoostedHost NameServers
If you purchased your domain from BoostedHost and are using BoostedHost’s Nameservers, please follow these steps:
- For domains using
ns1.boostedhost.comandns2.boostedhost.com:
Update your Nameservers to:ns1.boostedhost-dns.comns2.boostedhost-dns.com - For domains using
ns3.boostedhost.comandns4.boostedhost.com:
Update your Nameservers to:ns3.boostedhost-dns.comns4.boostedhost-dns.com
This Nameserver update ensures you continue to benefit from BoostedHost’s upgraded infrastructure. If you don’t change them, your Website WILL NOT LOAD.
2. Cloudflare Users: Add the New A Record
For Users on the US Server (Node-US1):
You already have an A record with IP 94.72.119.95. Now, add the following new A record to your DNS settings:

Step-by-Step Guide:
- Login to Cloudflare: Access your Cloudflare dashboard.
- Navigate to DNS Settings: Select your domain and go to the “DNS” tab.
- Click on “Add Record”:
- Choose “A” as the record type.
- Use “@” for the Name/Host field.
- Set TTL to Auto (or 3600 if you prefer).
- Copy and paste the Value/IP Address for your respective server location (US or Germany).
- Save your changes.
Why Two IPs for Each A Record?
Having two IP addresses for each location ensures improved reliability and failover. If one IP becomes unavailable, your domain will still be accessible through the other, providing seamless service to your visitors.

3. External Domain Registrants Using only BoostedHost’s Hosting Infrastructure
If your domain is registered with another provider, but your hosting is with BoostedHost, you will need to update your Nameservers. The instructions depend on whether your server is in the US or Germany. Please check the appropriate chart below to ensure you update to the correct Nameservers.
US Server (Node-US1) Nameserver Updates:

Important Note
The old NameServers will be discontinued in NOW, so it’s crucial to complete this update promptly to avoid downtime.
